Gaming update

We’ve had a couple friends come by who are giving my bf his geeky-girl-gamer fixes (since I apparently don’t seem to count). I think he enjoys playing against them ’cause he doesn’t know them as well and when they get pissed, THEY GET PISSED. I know he loves working people up like that. Pwning hawt bishes in video games must be a manly thrill.

We bought Gears of War 2 on Ebay..only to have to work at getting the money back as the seller went from good to bad; the seller has sold nearly a dozen items this month and not delivered according to the feedback. Sucks. The four of us (bf&I and the two sisters) have been anxiously waiting for that game too. Looks like I’ll go out myself and buy it for a much higher cost from a store. LAME.

We visit GameStop on occasion now. I always look for Halo Wars (I saw it there once) but it’s always gone. Guess nobody is exchanging that one. So far, everyone has said it’s simply brilliant. Yet another I’ll have to purchase for full price somewhere.

The sisters (I’m calling them that from now on) convinced us to play the first Gears of War while we were waiting for 2 and I admit it’s a badass game. We’ve not played it much at all ’cause we’ve both been busy with work ‘n whatnot and when we do play, we’re playing Halo 2 or I’m dorking around in the menu screen of NBA Live 09.

PS: I freaking hate playing the Arbiter.
